Jurgen Melzer Biography

I started playing tennis at the age of 9 his father, Rudolf, is the former mayor of his hometown of Deutsch-Wagram. His mother is a saleswoman, Michaela, and a younger brother, Gerald. Capture the junior title at Wimbledon. Is a passionate football fan, after Bayern Munich and Vienna, Austria. Is managed by former ATP pro Joakim Nystrom. Enjoys watching his favorite football team, FC Bayern Munich. Growing up, he applauded Stefan Edberg, Michael Stich and Patrick Rafter. Also enjoys going to movies and playing golf.
