Tobias Kamke was born 21 May 1986 in Lubeck, Germany. In June 2008 Kamke created the most important pull in singles for the Wimbledon Tournament as a Lucky Loser after losing to #134 Jan Hernych in the final qualifying round. He lost in the first round to world No. 30 Andreas Seppi.
In 2010, he made the main draw at Wimbledon where by he advanced via to the 1st and also 2nd rounded as well as then losing in the 3rd rounded to Tenth seed starting Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
